My research to this point has included aspects of Developmental, Health, and Social Psychology. My research has spanned many content areas, including stigma and health, children's media, gender development, and adolescent mental health. 

I am currently focused on weight stigma and disordered eating throughout the lifespan. More specifically, I aim to understand the effects of how we talk about weight and food and use that understanding to foster positive body image and healthy eating behavior in children and adolescents.

My ultimate goal is to conduct high quality research that creates change and improves lives for children, adolescents, and families.
